Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 is officially underway. From new points of interest (POIs) to new Mythic weapons, the “Myths & Mortals” season has much to offer. However, some aspects of last season remain in place, including Weapons Bunkers. This article will cover how to open a Weapons Bunker in Fortnite and where to find them.
All Weapons Bunker locations in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2
There are 9 Weapons Bunker across the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 landscape ready for you to open. As per the map above via Fortnite.GG, they are spread out fairly evenly. They sit underground, some near the primary locations and others seemingly in the middle of nowhere.
Below is a list of the rough areas you will find the Weapons Bunkers in the current Fortnite season:
- Slightly southwest of The Underworld
- Slightly southwest of Grim Gate
- South of Pleasant Piazza
- West of Lavish Lair
- East of Lavish Lair
- South of Classy Courts
- South of Fencing Fields
- Northwest of Mount Olympus
- North of Mount Olympus

How to open a bunker and what you’ll find inside
No keys are required to open a Weapons Bunker. Instead, you’ll need to play the waiting game. A Weapons Bunker will begin to open once the first Storm Circle closes in your Fortnite match. The light above the Bunker will start to flash before it slowly opens.
After it opens, you can enter the Weapon Bunker, where some Chests and a Mod Bench await your arrival. You can complete the Mod Bench Quest by simply interacting with it. A “Quest complete” notification will appear on the screen if done correctly.
Weapon Bunkers are helpful and act similarly to Vaults with slightly less loot.
