Who is the popular Renegade Runner skin in Fortnite?
If you are a fan of Fortnite, you have probably heard of the incredibly popular and rare skin, Renegade Raider. This unique and stylistic outfit first appeared in the Item Shop back in Chapter 1 and never returned. Still, though, Fortnite has helped hype up fans by releasing different variations of the skin, including the Renegade Runner.
So who exactly is Renegade Runner? And how can a player grab this popular variation of Renegade Raider?
Renegade Runner: A history on the skin
Well, Renegade Raider might be the rarest skin in Fortnite history, a lot of its variations have helped to quench that thirst man fans have who weren't able to obtain the skin during Chapter 1. In fact, Renegade Runner was not the first knock-off of Renegade Raider to be released.
Skins like Blaze, Skeletara and a few more were created directly to resemble the popular OG Fortnite skin.
Renegade Runner though, has been recently getting a lot of attention, due to its return within the Fortnite Item Shop. So who is the popular character?
Imagine Renegade Raider got torn apart, and then rebuilt using robotic pieces. That is Renegade Runner. The popular skin, which was released back during Chapter 4, Season 2 (April 11, 2023), takes the style of the original Renegade Raider and then fuses it with a popular futuristic robotic theme.
The skin also came with the following cosmetics in the Renegade Robotics Bundle:
- Renegade Runner (skin).
- Raider's Rucksack (back bling).
- Renegade Star (pickaxe).
- Starry Raider (emote).
- Mark of the Renegade (weapon wrap).
- Renegade Reunion (wallpaper).
How to get the Renegade Runner Fortnite skin
Acquiring the new Renegade Runner Fortnite skin is much easier than getting the Renegade Raider skin. Since its release, Renegade Runner has periodically been seen in the Item Shop, meaning players can buy her.
Renegade Runner cost:
- 1,200 V-Bucks.
You can also choose to purchase the skin's bundle too.
Renegade Robotics Bundle cost:
- 1,600 V-Bucks.
While the skin may be in the Item Shop now, it will not always stay there. If you don't get it before its too late, you may be stuck waiting quite a while for it to return.
