How to unlock the Renegade Runner skin in Fortnite

Fortnite is always trying to bring back its old characters but in new unique ways. Their newest addition, the Renegade Runner, is a new and improved version of the classic Renegade Raider. So how exactly does a player unlock the Renegade Runner in Fortnite? Well, it is simple... sort of.

Fans of competitive will be pleased to know that unlocking the new Renegade Runner skin will take a little bit of competition. Fortnite has announced a new tournament, where players can compete to earn the Renegade Runner skin.

But what if you are a Zero Build Fortnite player? Do not worry; this tournament is for everyone.

Fortnite decided to include two separate tournaments that run simultaneously. One will be a regular Battle Royale and the other a Zero Build tournament. Pick your poison, and do your best on the battlefield.

Scoring at least eight points in the tournament will also grant you the Starry Raider Emoticon.

Both tournaments are duo mode, so make sure you choose your teammate wisely.

Players who are not a fan of competitive, or just simply do not have time to compete in the Renegade Runner Cup, will be pleased to know that the skin will be coming to the item shop on April 15, 2023.
