LEGO Fortnite: The Lost Isles is officially here.
After being rumored for quite some time, LEGO Fortnite has finally announced its new world: The Lost Isles. Better yet, the brand-new ecosystem is coming to the game sooner than players expected.

Klombo is back in LEGO Fortnite: The Lost Isles
The infamous Klomba, the giant dinosaur-like creature that first appeared in Chapter 3, Season 1, is officially back in the game. This time, however, we are visiting his world.
The Lost Isles is a magical and mysterious place filled with five different environments, giving you a new ecosystem to explore. It is set to release on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.
Every new environment in LEGO Fortnite: The Lost Isles:
- Beach
- Plains
- Jungle
- Mountains
- Floating Islands
All of these new ecosystems are great to explore. However, beware of pirates and tribes.
LEGO Fortnite adds pirates and tribes to new world
You cannot have a LEGO Fortnite world without at least some danger, right? The game has added both pirates and tribes for players to watch out for.
Want to go explore the beach? Well, you better watch out for pirates. Want to take a stroll through the plains? Oops. Better think twice if you do not want to run into tribes.
However, if you find yourself battling these characters, you could get some nice weaponry loot after defeating them. The pirates will drop Flint-Knock Pistols and the tribes will drop Spears.
Use these items to your advantage when warding off additional enemies.

Runes have now entered the game
The new LEGO Fortnite world has also added Runes for players to utilize and find. Players can now craft Runes for strengthening tools and more.
Here is every Rune in LEGO Fortnite and what they do:
- Rune of Berserk I-III: Apply it to a tool to increase your attack speed with it.
- Rune of Damage I-III: Apply it to a tool to increase its damage.
- Rune of Destruction I-III: Apply it to a tool to give it a chance to instantly destroy buildings when hitting them.
- Rune of Durability I-III: Apply it to a tool to increase its durability.
- Rune of Health I-III: Apply it to a tool to create a chance for enemies to drop Health items when hit.
- Rune of Luck I-III: Apply it to a tool to give it an increased chance of getting extra loot drops when defeating enemies.
- Rune of Undead Bane I-III: Apply it to a tool to give it increased damage against undead enemies.
The game also now has books called Tomes, which give players powerful Runes after reading them. These can be found throughout the world.
LEGO Fortnite adds many new features, such as cannons, bananas and more
The game has added quite a few new features, including cannons for players to blast and bananas for people to eat and craft different foods with.
The new world is incredibly immersive, proving why LEGO Fortnite still holds such a big player base.
