Fortnite's latest Mini Season is all about The Simpsons, which means you can visit many iconic locations from the series. One such location is The Simpsons' homestead, located within the Evergreen Terrace point of interest (POI). You can even sit on the famous Simpsons couch to complete a hidden Fortnite Quest.
Unfortunately, as of the time of publishing this guide, Epic Games has disabled this Quest to fix an issue. In any case, here is how you can sit on The Simpsons couch when the challenge is available to complete again.
Where to find The Simpsons' house
As mentioned, you can find The Simpsons' house at Evergreen Terrace, which we have marked on the map above. Anyone familiar with the show will recognize the house immediately. Upon entering the homestead, the house appears precisely as it does in the show, down to the garage, bedrooms, and kitchen.
How to sit on The Simpsons couch in Fortnite (Quest currently disabled)
As of Nov. 2, Epic Games has effectively disabled the "sit on The Simpsons couch" Fortnite Quest to fix an issue. That means you cannot actually sit on the couch at the moment. It's unclear when the Quest will be operational again, but it should be back up in the coming days.
Thankfully, it's arguably one of the easiest Quests you will ever complete in the game. Before the issues came to light, many players shared screenshots of them approaching the couch and hitting one button to sit down.
It's as simple as the screenshots depicted above. In this case, you have to hold the square button on a PlayStation controller. This Quest is a much-needed Easter egg in a season dedicated to the long-running animated show.
The wait is on as Epic Games continues to work on resolving the issues that led to the disabling of the Simpsons couch. Hopefully, it won't take too long, but in the meantime, you can fight the various boss characters and accomplish other tasks as you wish!
