You can now enter the Fortnite Ice King Vault in the Frigid Fortress POI. Here's a step-by-step guide explaining how!
Team Ice King has officially won Act I against Team Foundation in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2. As a result, the Ice King Vault Key Card has appeared on the Fortnite map, specifically at the Frigid Fortress point of interest (POI). This Vault grants you access to the Ice King Vault, providing you with everything you could possibly need to dominate the lobby.
Where is the Ice King Vault and Key Card in Fortnite?
You can find the Ice King Vault at the Frigid Fortress POI located on the north side of the map. Once there, you must first find the Key Card, which is a few paces away from the Vault itself. We’ve marked the Key Card on the image above–it’s in a random, unassuming tower that you otherwise wouldn’t pay any attention to.
How to open the Ice King Vault
Once you have managed to dispatch any opponents, you can now head to the actual Ice King Vault. It’s not where you might expect, but rather closer to the Key Card spawn. We have provided an image showing the Vault location and what to look for.
When you arrive at the Vault, you must equip the Key Card in your inventory and then press the corresponding key to open it. Then, you can jump down below and feast on the various Chests and other loot. This is definitely a Vault you will want to visit often, given the number of Chests and healing items available.
A look at what’s inside the Vault
The video above shows precisely what you can expect when you enter the Ice King Vault. There are several normal Chests, a few rare Chests, numerous ammo boxes and bags, some Slurp Barrels, and more. You can also take the Port-A-Potty to rotate out of the Vault in case someone is waiting to take you down and steal your loot.
