Did you get your Fortnite refund? The Federal Trade Commission has recently begun paying out players.

A while back, the Federal Trade Commission found Fortnite guilty of making it too easy for players to accidentally purchase V-Bucks and cosmetics. Epic Games was then court-ordered to refund millions of dollars to players who have been affected by this, and payouts just started going out. So, how do you get yours?

How to get your Fortnite refund

Interested in getting your Fortnite refund? While the form has been out for quite some time now, players can still fill it out on the Federal Trade Commission's website. The deadline to fill out a form is January 10, 2025.

The form asks you some basic questions that are easy to answer. The majority of them revolve around whether or not you felt like you made unwanted purchases in Fortnite's Item Shop during a specific time period.

It is made clear, though, that the Federal Trade Commission might follow up and ask for some documents proving that you got scammed, so make sure to have those ready just in case.

Fortnite pays out millions to players

Just yesterday, many Fortnite players and fans began to post that they had received a payout from Epic Games regarding the lawsuit. From $50 to $2,000, many players were finding their PayPal accounts to be quite full when waking up.

However, this is not a one-and-done system, as it may take months for the game to pay out everyone who is owed money. If you are still waiting for your refund from Fortnite, stay patient. It will come to you eventually.

This is not a chance, though, to lie to the Federal Trade Commission and attempt to get money you do not deserve. Remember to have integrity when filling out this form.
