There are 33 God Chest spawns on the current Fortnite map. They are located in the northwestern and southeastern portions of the map, referred to as "Underworld" and "Olympus." The Underworld Chests are in The Underground and Grim Gate locations, whereas the Olympus Chests are in Mount Olympus and Brawler's Battlegrounds.

The map above, courtesy of Fortnite.GG, shows where you can find all Underworld and Olympus Chests in the latest Fortnite season. Although initially they had a 90% spawn rate, Epic Games has since reduced it to 70%.

Now that you know where to find them, we will explain what they contain and why they are certainly worth the effort.

Each Olympus and Underworld Chest has a chance to drop one of two Mythic abilities new to this season: Icarus Wings and Thunderbolt of Zeus. Additionally, you may find a Mythic weapon with ammo and healing items.

Icarus Wings and the Thunderbolt of Zeus are both equally useful in a given match. The former allows you to fly through the air for an extended period. Zeus’s Mythic grants three significant lightning bolt attacks to your enemy, making it effective against all enemies.

Overall, Olympus and Underworld Chests are worth seeking out in Fortnite. The Mythics alone are worthwhile and having extra healing items can help. Although these areas will be popular, it’s definitely worth seeking them out.
