Whether you are a shonen legend or a seinen fanboy, there is definitely a finished anime that deserves your (re)watch this year.

Here are our top seven finished anime that deserve a (re)watch in 2025.

7. Steins;Gate

This is an easy anime to pick for our list. Stein;Gate premiered back in 2011 and still has plenty of anime watchers discussing its themes and insanely elaborate plot. The show follows a group of college-age students who discover time travel.

Except, messing with the past may be a bit more strenuous than they realized. The show also has a prequel (well, sort of) called Steins;Gate 0 that is incredibly worth watching after you finish the original.

6. Naruto

Both Naruto and Naruto Shippuden are obvious picks for our list of the best anime to watch in 2025 that have already concluded. The show follows a young and reckless ninja who, despite striving to always be the best, battles an evil demon that has been sealed inside of him. Through countless adventures and missions, Naruto must learn to work with his demon while facing outside forces that wish to use him for the monster that resides within him.

Naruto is one of the best anime to date and its sequel, Boruto, is due for some new episodes.

5. Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Discussed by many as the greatest anime to exist, Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood is an insanely powerful anime that 100% deserves a (re)watch in 2025. The show follows two brothers who have delved too far into a forbidden alchemy, which sealed one of the boys into a massive suit of armor.

The show follows heavy themes of family, love and always fighting for those who mean the most to you. Definitely add this show to your list if you are looking for an anime to watch in 2025 that has already concluded.

4. Monster

Monster is by far one of the most ambitious anime out there. The show follows a young Japanese doctor who resides in Germany as he pursues a young serial killer. Why would the doctor be pursuing the serial killer, though? Well, he just happened to have saved the man's life when he was just a young kid. He now feels responsible and must be the one to stop the man.

The show came out back in the early 2000s, but still stands the test of time as one of the best anime out there.

3. Code Geass

Code Geass has shaped an entire generation of anime watchers. The show takes place in a dystopian future, while following a young man who gains a mysterious power. Now, with a revolution underway, the world of Code Geass has been turned upside down.

Code Geass is critically acclaimed and known as one of the greatest anime ever made. It more than definitely deserves a (re)watch in 2025.

2. Death Note

Those who have already watched Death Note know how extremely captivating its story is. The show, which consists of only 30-something episodes, is a standoff between the police and a boy who has developed a mysterious book that allows him to kill whoever's name he writes in it. Death Note is incredible and will have you on the edge of your seat at the end of every episode.

Death Note needs to be watched over and over again by everyone as it is easily one of the greatest pieces of fiction to ever exist.

1. Attack on Titan

Attack on Titan will stand the test of time as the greatest piece of fiction ever created. No anime, no TV show, no movie, and no book can top this piece of greatness. Follow the story of three young kids as they fight in a world where freedom has been taken from them by an endless horde of giant man-eating monsters called Titans.

Not only is Attack on Titan riveting, but it delves into some heavy topics such as war and the effect it has on the people who are forced to be involved.

Attack on Titan needs to be (re)watched by everyone. If it is your first time viewing this famous piece of media, then godspeed to you.
