Command Prompt

One of the solutions that have apparently worked for a couple of players comes from Diablo forums user Apolden. Here is what they did to fix Diablo 4 error 300008.

  1. On your desktop press Windows Key and type “CMD”.
  2. Right-click “Command Prompt” and select “Run as administrator”.
  3. Type “ipconfig /release” and press enter.
  4. Wait 30 seconds.
  5. Type “ipconfig /renew” and press enter.
  6. Wait a few seconds for it to load.
  7. Type “ipconfig /flushdns” and press enter.
  8. Play Diablo 4.

This has seen a few players respond positively to the suggested solution. Please bear in mind one simple reason for this error occurring is a large number of players attempting to get onto the Diablo 4 server. The game officially launched today (June 6), not everyone had early access to the game where there would have been less stress on the servers.

Restarting your internet

Another simple method for fixing error 300008 is to completely refresh your router/modem as your system can also be causing the login problem. It is also recommended to use an ethernet connection over a wireless connection.

  1. Shut down your PC completely and switch off the power button normally located at the back of the machine.
  2. Restart your router.
  3. Wait at least 30 seconds before switching your router back on again.
  4. Once the internet is back up and running, switch your PC back on.
  5. Load Diablo 4. Optionally you can run Diablo 4 as administrator.

The Diablo 4 developers have been quick to address the ongoing issues with their games. To keep up to date for potential fixes to any problem you are facing, be sure to follow Diablo 4's Global Community Development Director Adam Fletch on Twitter.
