You can get the Samurai Bushido armor by completing the Encore mission. To access it, head to the Portal and select Pinnacle missions. You can find Encore here.

If you’re unfamiliar, Encore is a long-winded quest that could once unlock the Choir of One exotic auto rifle and its catalysts. Thankfully, the current version of this mission is a trimmed-down variant of the original, both in content and difficulty.

It could still take about forty-five minutes to an hour to complete, especially if you play solo and are not familiar with its many terminal puzzles. We recommend bringing in a friend or two. If you’re going in completely blind solo, it’s best to have a weapon that provides healing. It will particularly be handy in the final boss fight with the Choral Mind.

For our first completion, we used the Red Dead Reformed exotic pulse rifle to get constant healing from reloads. Alternatively, you could take the Crimson exotic hand cannon. You should be able to obtain it from the Exotic Archive at the Monument to Lost Lights in the Tower.

The Bushido armor set consists of five pieces, each dropping from different encounters within the Encore mission. Thankfully, they are a guaranteed drop, so you should be able to acquire your first lot on your first run.

Destiny 2 Bushido armor bonus stats explained

You can gain the following bonus stats for equipping two to four pieces of the Bushido set.

  • Two-piece (IAIDO): Final blows with freshly drawn or reloaded weapons heal you.
  • Four-piece (Unfaltering Focus): Bow, Shotgun, or Sword final blows temporarily reduce incoming damage. Damaging targets with those weapons extends the effect.

The two-piece IAIDO bonus is perhaps more vital, as it can work with any builds and provide constant bursts of healing. The four-piece Unfaltering Focus provides damage resistance from final blows from Bow, Shotgun, or Sword. We can see this being useful in pinnacle activities where you use Shotguns or Swords in close-ranged, melee-focused builds.

That sums up our guide on how to get the Samurai Bushido armor in Destiny 2.
