Cookie Run Kingdom Holiday Square: All correct answers for the detective event

The Cookie Run: Kingdom (CRK) Holiday Square is a detective event where you solve a crime scene and catch the culprit who is causing trouble in town. It’s part of the Millennial Advent update that introduced a new cookie along with a ton of new content for the holiday season. There are a total of 10 chapters overall. Some of them are simply story sections where you simply follow the narrative. A good number of these chapters require you to solve puzzles or gather clues to find the culprit.

That said, here is a full guide on all the correct answers and how to solve the Cookie Run Kingdom Holiday Square event. To save your time, we will not be including the chapters that don't have the deduction minigames.

The first part of the Cookie Run Kingdom Holiday Square event stretches from Chapter 1 to Chapter 6.

Move your cursor to where Cherry Cookie is and press the magnifying glass button to zoom in on them hanging out in the fountain. Your next goal is to select the Both Cherry Cookie and her cherry bombs, then the Pointy Punks on the left side. 

The next chapter sees a ship in the harbor burning and the Headmaster unconscious on the ground. You use your drone to investigate the area. Start by selecting the Headmaster. Once zoomed in, click on Headmaster again, then the banana peel, the red icing crumbs, and the Mayor Cuckoobean (the white bird) with a bump on the back. Afterward, zoom out by pressing the Back button. Select the ship.

Once you are done checking the harbor, the clues will lead you to another area. Tap on the giant boulder, the road, and the dark area on the right side. These are all you need to complete the investigation. Refer to the image below for hints.

The first culprit in question is the Pointy Punks. Select "The three of us stayed in the Town Square the whole time! We were talking about the incident at the harbor!" Submit your selected statement to complete the first part.

Objective: Detect the false statement! (Cherry Cookie)

The next one is Cherry Cookie. The correct answer is "No matter where I looked, it wasn't there... So I kept searching and searching." Submit the statement to complete the investigation.

For this part of the Cookie Run Kingdom Holiday Square event, you need to tap Nougat Cookie, the banana peel, the staircase, and the workshop in front of the unconscious victim. Once you select all of them, the investigation should be over, and you proceed to the next chapter.

The next investigation will have you select the bike figurine, the Pointy Punks' festival decoration, and the broken festival ornament. Once that's done, the investigation is over. It's pretty short and not difficult to solve.

Going through the statement given by Jagae Cookie, select "Anyway, I was looking for good timber when I heard a scream deeper in. Turned out to be Mandu Cookie. And the moment I arrived. I ran after the culprit." On my playthrough, she mentioned Mandu Cookie. This is most likely a typo in the CRK Holiday Square event, as I believe it's Manju Cookie.

Before the investigation starts, you need to choose a dialogue option. You need to select "Stay quiet like Cheddar Cheese Cookie said." Otherwise, the game won't let you progress further.

Once you start reviewing the statements, you will start with the Pointy Punks. Select "And for the record, we've never pulled tricks with banana peels! Not this time, not any time."

The investigation in the CRK Holiday Square event leads to another review of Street Urchin Cookie's statements. The correct answer for this one is "Not a single complaint. Not once!"

Before the investigation starts, another dialogue option appears. You need to select The Pointy Punks to proceed. This will lead you to a minigame where you combine clues to come up with a deduction. Select the following evidence to solve this section of the CRK Holiday Square event:

For this one, you can only select one piece of evidence. The right one is the Pointy Punks' Festival Decoration. Select the "A decoration that the Pointy Punks worked hard to make. The text on the bottom says 'Good luck!'" description to complete the deduction.

The second and final part of the Cookie Run Kingdom Holiday Square event starts with Chapter 7 and ends in Chapter 10. This is where you finally find out who the culprit is.

Another point-and-click minigame with your bread drone. Point the drone cursor and select the red icing fragments and the dough fragment in the ship.

Once the investigation is done, you will then have to remove the ashes from a smaller lifeboat. This will trigger a dialogue option. The correct answer is Stay. Even the smallest clue could break the case. However, you selected Leave. Get real help, will unlock Scene 3 in Chapter 7.

Chapter 8 starts with you choosing which cookie to talk to. Selecting the Pointy Punks will not trigger anything. Going for Jagae Cookie will open another deduction minigame. Select "He lit some incense and said it would "calm the mind." It did smell nice... almost too nice that it made me feel sleepy."

Objective: Detect the false statement! (Manju Cookie)

After reviewing Jagae's statement, you proceed to review the ones made by Manju Cookie. Select "Well, Jagae Cookie took ages with the snacks, and I got hungry! That's all!" This is where the suspicion shifts to another potential suspect.

This section of the CRK Holiday Square event, Chapter 8, is straightforward. You only need to select the Burnt Hammer Handle and choose the "A hammer handle found inside the burned ship. Whether it burned along with the vessel or not, only the handle remains," as the evidence description.

This time, you need to know why the Pointy Punks wanted to hide and what they were doing at the time the crime took place. If you've been reading the story, the answer is obvious. Select the following evidence and their descriptions:

The next investigation is about learning how Cherry Cookie was at two places at the same time. The evidence leads you to believe there could have been an imposter among them. Here is the evidence you need to select to complete this section:

Before the CRK Holiday Square event investigation begins, there will be three dialogue options available. The Pointy Punks and Jagae Cookie options will open Scene 5 and Scene 6, respectively. The Manju Cookie option will progress to the main story and start the minigame. Select the "She wasn't there. There, done. Anything else?" statement.

Now that you have more evidence that suggests Manju Cookie is behind it all, you need to prove your case. Select the banana peel as the first evidence, with the "A banana peel that Manju Cookie stepped on while chasing the culprit. It's said the slip caused an ankle injury" text.

The next one, to prove that the Pointy Punks are innocent. Select the Bike Fiigure evidence with the "Street Urchin Cookie's bike-shaped figurine. A gift from the Pointy Punks, she has it on display inside her home," description.

Now you need to provide evidence of Manju Cookie's motive for committing the crime. Select the White Cloth Stained with Yellow Ink. The problem is, none of the descriptions is correct. This is intentional, so use all your tries clicking on any of the descriptions. This will take you to the next deduction minigame.

For this one, you need to submit five clues that can help prove Manju Cookie is the culprit. Select the following clues to complete the investigation:

After the investigation is complete, Manju Cookie will still try to deny everything. You then cut to a section where you need to drag the icing crumb to Manju Cookie and prove he is an impostor. Drag the red icing to his eyebrow.

Once that's done, all you have to do is go through the last remaining story cutscenes of Chapter 10. Then, the event ends.
