Here’s our guide to the best Cookies to use when building a team for the Cookie Run: Kingdom Great Deep-Sea War event.
The Cookie Run Kingdom Great Deep-Sea War is a raid boss event where you assemble a team and defeat menacing enemies in all shapes and sizes. Defeating regular bosses is easy with the right units. However, things can get pretty dicey when facing the Giant Coral Squid with a massive HP pool. You will need to know how to set up a good lineup to deal the most damage possible.
To help you with that, here is a guide on the best Cookies to use for your team in the Cookie Run Kingdom Great Deep-Sea War event.
Best teams for Cookie Run Kingdom Great Deep-Sea War
Since the Cookie Run Kingdom Great Deep-Sea War has a time limit, you will need to rely on attack speed for the most damage. The best Cookies to use are Creme Brulee, Twizzly Gummy, Linzer, Black Lemonade, and Cream Ferret.
The better stats you roll from these Cookies, the higher your overall damage output. My best damage was only 6 billion, mainly because I did not have enough resources to keep rerolling for the best stats. Some players can go up to 10 to 12 billion in damage with this lineup.
That said, here is the best build for each member of the lineup:
Creme Brulee Cookie

- Toppings: 2x Bouncy Caramel, 3x Searing Raspberry, with Swift Chocolate Tart
- Topping Substats: ATK SPD, CRIT%, ATK, Cooldown
- Beascuit: 4x ATK SPD
Creme Brulee will be your main DPS for this team composition. Put as much ATK SPD as possible to it, preferably around 40% and above. While the best stat for attack speed is around 70%, you can’t reach that unless you invest heavily in rerolls. Don’t push your luck if you have limited resources.
To finish the build, try to get at least 8% Cooldown so he can cast his ability once every three seconds. The more enhanced basic attacks he can make, the better. If you can, a bit of CRIT% also helps with the damage.
Twizzly Gummy Cookie (with Magic Candy)

- Toppings: 3x Bouncy Caramel, 2x Juicy Apple Jelly, with Bouncy Caramel Tart
- Topping Substats: ATK SPD, CRIT%, ATK, Cooldown
- Beascuit: 4x ATK SPD
Twizzly Gummy is here to be the sub-DPS of the team. Her Magic Candy upgrade adds a massive 20% CRIT DMG to the team. This is why you will be building a bit of CRIT% on your damage dealers. This also applies to Twizzly Gummy, so make sure to add some CRIT% stat whenever possible.
Linzer Cookie

- Toppings: 5x Swift Chocolate and Tart
- Topping Substats: ATK SPD, Cooldown
- Beascuit: 4x ATK SPD
Linzer is the easiest to build in this CRK Great Deep-Sea War lineup. You need to add some ATK SPD substats to your Swift Chocolate. Reach around 30% Cooldown so she can cast her buff once every three seconds. Try to get around 30% to 35% ATK SPD overall so she can get full stacks before casting her ability.
Black Lemonade Cookie

- Toppings: 5x Searing Raspberry
- Topping Substats: ATK SPD, Cooldown
- Beascuit: 4x Elec. DMG
As for Black Lemonade, stack as many ATK stats as you can, then have four Elec. DMG on her beascuit. It’s also good to have a bit of Cooldown substats if you can.
Cream Ferret Cookie

- Toppings: 3x Swift Chocolate, 2x Juicy Apple Jelly, with Swift Chocolate Tart
- Topping Substats: Cooldown, CRIT%, ATK
- Beascuit: 4x Cooldown
The main support and healer of the team is Cream Ferret. They need to have a good balance between their preferred stats for this team composition. Try to hit around 40% Cooldown first, then add some CRIT% and ATK.
Alternate Cookie to use
If you don’t have the Cookies recommended above, here are some alternatives:
- Wind Archer Cookie - With his new Crystal Jam upgrade, he gets even stronger. A good alternative for Creme Brulee or Twizzly Gummy.
- Marshmallow Bunny Cookie - Substitute for Cream Ferret, but can be hard to build. She scales with Amplify Buff, making her buffs last longer.
- Awakened White Lily Cookie - Good burst damage, but inconsistent due to having a slightly long cooldown.
- Eternal Sugar Cookie - Same problem as Awakened White Lily.
- Awakened Pure Vanilla Cookie - Amazing healing but no damage buffs.
That's it for our Cookie Run Kingdom Great Deep-Sea War team guide. It's just one of the few ongoing events in the game. Another one is the Holiday Square detective event, where you solve a crime and catch the culprit that's causing trouble in Town Square.
Another event is the Tide of Fellowship, where you sail the high seas and trade goods for profit. This is also where you can find Deep-Sea War Map fragments to summon the Giant Coral Squid boss.
