Here’s what ATH means in the game.

You have probably come across an ATH, or Athlete, when recruiting in College Football 25 Dynasty mode. These players can be great additions to your team, so here's more on what an ATH is and why you should be recruiting them in CFB 25.

College Football 25 ATH meaning

The acronym ATH stands for Athlete in College Football 25. These are players who typically have a position they specialize in, but can be more easily shifted around into multiple roles after you have signed them. This is why, occasionally, you will have an ATH that shows up as a team need. Their intended position is one that your team needs going into the following season.

Typically, you can find out what position an ATH will most likely play based on their tendency (in the top right of the image) and their scouting stats if you choose to scout them. These can be for almost any position on a team, although we have never seen a kicker or punter ATH.

These can be great players for those who utilize the change positions feature in each offseason. An ATH that starts as a HB could, potentially, slot in easier as a WR, TE, or FB than a more dedicated HB otherwise would. It can allow for a lot of good flexibility for teams that may be a bit shorthanded, which can be especially nice for 1-star or 2-star schools.

So, overall, an ATH in College Football 25 is essentially a more flexible version of a normal recruit and are nothing to shy away from if you are looking for the most talented players. For more College Football 25 guides like this one, be sure to stay tuned at esports.gg!
