Not all offensive plays are created equal in College Football 25.

One of the most stressful moments in any game of College Football 25 comes when you have exhausted all of your go-to offensive plays and still have not managed to move the ball. This could be because of some timely defense from your opponent, or because you are simply calling the wrong kinds of plays. In the event of the latter, here are some of our favorite offensive plays in College Football 25.

Best offensive plays in College Football 25

The best offensive plays in College Football 25 all have a few things in common that make them optimal. Our focus is finding plays that you can reliably run on Heisman with the following characteristics:

  • Safe: These plays typically give solid options to avoid throwing interceptions or turning the ball over.
  • Potentially explosive: All of these plays can easily go for a touchdown against the right defense or with a skill move or two.
  • Low risk: Typically, these plays don't get blown up in the backfield due to numbers advantage or quick options from the passing game.

Best offensive playbook: Florida Gators

After testing almost every playbook on Heisman and taking a fair share of losses, the Florida Gators playbook is one that gives you a little bit of everything. You have Pistol packages that can easily disguise a pass as a run, a Full House heavy package for inside runs, Wildcat, and plenty of options from the Gun.

In this playbook, there are a few plays that stand out. Below are screenshots from our own gallery.

These plays include some of the following concepts:

  • Jet sweeps to the outside. In Wildcat, you get tons of blocking, but the run is somewhat predictable. However, you can also run this from the Pistol or several options in the Gun.
  • Outside passes with short dump-off options. These are cornerstones of any solid passing game and should help you to avoid those interceptions.
  • Inside-outside option plays. There is a Speed Option play not pictured here that works wonders, but having the Triple Option or Power Read can be great for diversifying your run game.
  • Streaks. If you know, you know. We have to look to air it out, and doing so from the Pistol in a run heavy offense can easily result in an open touchdown.

Overall, our strategy is to favorite about 30 plays that we understand well and then gradually add other plays into the mix. This approach has worked well for us with the Florida offense on Heisman, and we hope it will do the same for you!
