You’re going to want a fast QB in CFB 25 Road to Glory.

Road to Glory, the single-player mode in College Football 25, offers players the opportunity to step up and lead the team of their choice as a QB. But, not every archetype is as easy, or as fun, as you may think.

Here's our pick for the best QB build for your next RTG run.

Best College Football 25 Road to Glory QB archetype: Scrambler

The Scrambler archetype is our pick for the best QB build in College Football 25 Road to Glory, due to the freedom and running capabilities it offers the quarterback.

This is our top choice over Improviser and Field General, however, if you are looking for a more pocket passer playstyle, Field General may be the pick for you.

We chose this archetype after testing each one and found that Scrambler still has enough passing accuracy to complete what you need, but offers far superior speed and maneuverability than our Improviser did. Each of the archetypes was tested with a 5-star recruit.

For upgrades, look to improve your QB's elusiveness and quickness stats immediately, then look to badges based on your playstyle. There you can customize based on what moves you typically use, or whether you'd prefer a quick change in direction.

In the end, the beauty of the Road to Glory experience is that each player can navigate it in their own way, so we encourage you to try out lots of different styles across the mode's multiple positions. We found that the scrambler QB offered the most success for those looking for immediate impact as a freshman, but that may not be the case for everyone!
