Best teams for you to rebuild in College Football 25

Whether you want to take a never-was team to the promised land or bring a team back to its former glory, a rebuild in College Football 25's Dynasty mode is a blast. Let's go over the five best teams you can pick to make the rebuild happen.

Nebraska

This is an obvious one, and you might have seen Bordeaux do it as his first rebuild in College Football 25. Give it a try on your own, as this is a school with loads of history. Former National Championships and fan base as loyal as any is what this school brings.

The powerhouse of the 90's, the Nebraska Cornhuskers haven't finished a season with a Top 25 rank in a decade. With high profile matchups galore, rich history, and a 5-Star QB to start with, you couldn't ask for a better team to rebuild.

Ball State

The Ball State Cardinals are one of the worst rated teams in the entirety of College Football 25, so of course they deserve a rebuild. They're a 1-Star school with a terrible overall. The point of a rebuild isn't always about making it as challenging as possible, but it sure does make it more rewarding in the end.

If you want to prove you're one of the best coaches around in College Football 25, rebuild this team. It will take a while. More time than you might have. But if you accomplish it, bragging rights are yours for eternity.

UL Monroe

The University of Louisiana at Monroe is in the same boat as Ball State. They have a much cooler name and better pieces in place to start your rebuild, however. The Warhawks have some fun history behind them, with upsets over high profile schools and a dominant run through the Southland Conference in the 80's and 90's.

Most low-rated teams have zero potential until you give it to them. UL Monroe, however, has a couple of blue chip halfbacks and a left guard that has better pass protection skills than just about anyone you'll find.

University of Central Florida

If you're a college football fan, you remember the historic 2017 the UCF Knights had. They went undefeated, but had one less game played because of Hurricane Irma throwing their schedule for a loop. And being in what was considered a lesser conference at the time, they didn't receive the recognition they felt they deserved when it came to a National Championship bid.

So, why not make the dream that slipped by a reality? The school claims an unofficial National Championship for that year, but it isn't recognized by the NCAA. Rebuild the current day University of Central Florida football team in College Football 25 and get them that title once and for all.

Alabama

The Alabama Crimson Tide is hands down one of the most successful college football programs of all time. Their last National Championship win was in 2020, though, and longtime coach Nick Saban is no longer with the team.

Who says a College Football 25 rebuild needs to be done with a terrible team? Alabama is essentially a clean slate. You can take over the coaching job and build the program to your liking, taking them from great to historic yet again.
