Look for these key stats to land a high-impact recruit in CFB 25 Dynasty.
One of the keys to building any successful Dynasty in College Football 25 is landing a difference-making recruit. But trying to sort through everything can be tough, and it's hard to know what players will actually make a difference on your team.
So, here are the stats you should look for most in recruits in CFB 25 Dynasty mode.
Best stats for a recruit in College Football 25 Dynasty mode
The best stats for any recruit will, at some level, depend on their position. You don't need a DT with Throw Power, but you do need a QB with it, for example. Overall, there are some key stats to look at for certain positions that will ensure you have some solid recruits coming onto your roster.
The three images below, courtesy of esports.gg, show a few different players that we have scouted fully in a California online dynasty. Even with one of these having a broken gem icon, all three look to be ones that we will be pursuing more based on their stats. Let's take a look at why.

Breaking down three fully scouted recruits
- Duke Hamm, a 4-star CB recruit shown above, has 90 acceleration, 92 speed, and 87 agility coming out of high school. This means that, even as a freshman, the young CB should be able to stay with most WRs and would be a potentially great kick returner. His main weaknesses are his lack of tackling and a low catching rating, as a CB. If these stats were better, this player would be a must-get.
- Daniel Kidder is another 4-star, this time at HB. He is an especially solid recruit because he has 90 overall speed and acceleration while still being a Power Back. Paired with some abilities that are already gold-level and mostly solid other stats, Kidder would be able to slot in immediately at HB.
- Last is Deshawn Abiamiri, a 4-star broken gem ATH that would play QB. This is why you should not immediately disengage with broken gem players, as he has an incredible 95 speed and acceleration ratings, with 90 throw power and decent enough accuracy. This would be an extremely dangerous Scrambler QB and is a player I'll be trying to get desperately with the Cal Golden Bears in this online dynasty.
For non-skill positions, speed won't necessarily be what you are looking for, unless you want a pass-rushing DE or something of that sort, but for skill positions, it's vitally important. The most important thing is checking these stats once you've scouted to ensure the player fits into your team well and has solid baseline stats. Star ratings can, at times, be a bit misleading.
We hope this helps you land the perfect recruits in CFB 25 Dynasty mode. Stay tuned for more from esports.gg!
