Season 3 of Black Ops 7 will be here sooner than you might think.
Even though it seems like Season 2 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone just began, it’s beginning to wind down. The Season 2 Reloaded update arrived this week, and this means that we’re officially in the back half of the season. However, how much time do we have left before Season 3 actually arrives in Black Ops 7?
While Activision isn’t going to put out any kind of official details regarding Season 3 until we’re much closer to its release date, we do have a solid idea of when the update is launching.
Season 3 release date in Black Ops 7 and Warzone
As of the time of writing, Season 2 only has 21 days left. We know this thanks to the countdown timer seen on the Battle Pass screen. This is the amount of time left between Season 2 Reloaded and Season 3, which is fairly normal for a Call of Duty timeline. Reloaded updates are meant to serve as the halfway point for seasons, and Season 2 was released roughly one month ago.

This means that the current release date for Season 3 in Black Ops 7 and Warzone is set for Thursday, April 2. This is exactly three weeks away from the time of writing, and unless anything major changes, that’s when you can expect the Season 3 update to arrive.
Right now, we don’t know much about the season aside from what’s been teased by Activision. In the recent COD POD episode, we heard that the Black Ops 2 map Plaza might be returning, but that’s about it in terms of concrete details. Of course, as March goes on, we’ll hear more and more about what Season 3 will have to offer across multiplayer, Endgame, Zombies, and battle royale.
For the time being, though, you can participate in everything Season 2 Reloaded has to offer. This includes unlocking the two new weapons, the Voyak KT-3 and the Swordfish A1, as well as the Lockshot scorestreak.
