Directed Mode is a new, streamlined way to play Black Ops 6 Zombies so you can experience the mode’s narrative aspects.
A brand-new mode for Zombies arrived with Season 1. The Directed Mode in Black Ops 6 Zombies is a straightforward way to experience the story. You can't chase after a high round count and you won't be left wondering how to complete the main quest Easter eggs.
Instead, you'll be lead right to them. Directed Mode marks the necessary items needed and makes them objectives while you play Zombies. The focus is to complete the different main quests for those interested in Zombies lore.
When was Directed Mode added?
Directed Mode was added to Black Ops 6 Zombies on November 14, 2024. That was with the Season 1 update. Additionally, it shut down any chance of receiving the exclusive rewards for completing the Easter eggs before its arrival.
That's right, special Calling Cards were given out to players who completed the main quests on their own without any help. Some rewards are still available for completing Directed Mode objectives, but after the launch of Season 1, the secret exclusive ones are no longer available.
