Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 features over 30 total weapons to use in your primary or secondary slots in multiplayer. While a majority of these weapons have certain strengths, it's natural that some are simply better than the rest. There are five weapons, in particular, that can be considered the absolute best in Black Ops 6.

Of course, this list of the five best weapons will change over time. Whether it's due to a seasonal update introducing new weapons or weapon balancing that occurs, these won't stay the five best weapons for too long. However, for now, you can see our picks for the five best weapons in Black Ops 6 on the list below.

While sniper rifles haven't been particularly inspiring in the first couple of weeks of Black Ops 6, the LR 7.62 is still an incredibly strong weapon. It's the best sniper rifle by a wide margin, possessing lethal one-shot kill potential anywhere on the upper body. The bolt action weapon also has solid mobility, making it a great choice for quickscopers and long-range users alike.

Next up, we have the Jackal PDW, which has fallen a bit since the submachine gun dominated the Black Ops 6 beta. While the Jackal PDW used to be far and away the best weapon in multiplayer, it has still maintained a top spot.

Featuring outstanding mobility and little recoil, the Jackal is the current close range choice amongst professional players in the Call of Duty League. It has some damage concerns at longer ranges, but for the most part, the Jackal shreds through enemies.

Another classic weapon is one of the strongest weapons in Black Ops 6, and it's not close. The XM4 is widely regarded as an overpowered weapon in multiplayer, as it can absolutely oblierate enemies at any range. The assault rifle specifically has a fast fire rate, high damage, and no recoil to make it a lethal threat at longer ranges. However, don't sleep on the XM4 at close range either, even if you're using an SMG or shotgun.

If you've only stuck to the more popular weapon classes in Black Ops 6, then this entry might come as a bit of a surprise. The AEK-973 is a marksman rifle, but acts more like an AR and fires in three round bursts. While the AEK-973 doesn't unlock its full potential until you max out its levels, it becomes one of the best weapons in multiplayer once this happens.

The three-round burst nature of the AEK allows it to one-burst enemies across the map if you can hit all three bullets. Even if you can't, though, the fast fire rate of the weapon is quite forgiving, allowing you to get off another burst before the enemy even knows what hit them.

And finally, coming in at the number one spot, is the dominant Model L assault rifle. Ever since Black Ops 6 launched, the Model L has been the best weapon in multiplayer. While it does have some limitations as an assault rifle, you can effectively use the Model L in just about any situation and still succeed.

Its true strength lies at mid to long-ranges, though, where it has the best time-to-kill out of any fully-auto AR in Black Ops 6. The Model L also doesn't have any recoil whatsoever, making it one of the most user-friendly weapons in the game.
