The Kepler Microflex is the best optic in Black Ops 6, so let’s see how to unlock it in multiplayer.
There are plenty of optics to pick from when designing a weapon loadout in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. However, if you want the best-in-class and most traditional option on your gun, you want to go with the Kepler Microflex. The Kepler Microflex is the cleanest red dot sight in Black Ops 6, and it's usually the best option for a majority of guns.
By default, you won't have the Kepler Microflex unlocked. To make matters worse, the optic is unlocked in different ways depending on what weapon category you're trying to use. You can see how to unlock the Kepler Microflex optic in Black Ops 6 in the guide below.
Unlocking the Kepler Microflex in Black Ops 6
Optics are the only "shared attachment" in Black Ops 6. This means when you unlock a specific optic, it becomes unlocked for all weapons in that specific category. For example, if you unlock the Kepler Microflex for one assault rifle, it will be permanently unlocked for all other assault rifles.
While this is great news for grinding purposes, it also means that the Kepler Microflex, along with all optics, needs to be unlocked separately for all weapon categories. Just because you unlock the Kepler Microflex for assault rifles does not mean you unlock it for submachine guns, for example.
Seven weapon categories have the ability to equip the Kepler Microflex, which means there are seven unlock methods for the optic. You can see all the unlock methods below:

- Marksman Rifles - Get the DM-10 to level 20
- Sniper Rifles - Get the LR 7.62 to level 30

As you can see, if you're a true fan of the Kepler Microflex, you'll need to grind out seven different weapons to equip it on every gun in Black Ops 6. Some of the unlock methods are easier than others, as getting the 9mm PM to level 5 is significantly easier than getting the AS VAL to level 5. The 9mm PM is unlocked by default while the AS VAL isn't unlocked until level 55. This means to get the Kepler Microflex on assault rifles, you have to almost reach first Prestige.
This is the way it is in Black Ops 6, but as long as you follow the unlock methods listed above, you'll be able to equip the optic. On the way to reaching the various level requirements for the Kepler Microflex, you might want to keep track of your KD Ratio, which can be done in a couple of different ways. You can also test out to see if the Kepler Microflex is worth the trouble by viewing it in a private match where it's unlocked by default.
