Learn how to check the Black Ops 6 server status and how to fix possible internet issues on your end.

Server problems happen very often with new games, and it's no different with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

We all have experienced it at least once. All you want at the end of the day is to play a game in your spare hours, but suddenly you're hit with server issues. While dealing with server problems is annoying, there are a couple of useful tips on how to deal with it.

Here's how to check if the Black Ops 6 servers are down and how to fix connection issues.

Are Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 servers down? How to check the server status

Sometimes, there is nothing you can do as the Black Ops 6 servers will simply be down because many people are trying to play the game, especially in the first weeks, or for maintenance purposes.

So, before you try to fix your internet connection, it's best to check if the servers are down. Your best bet is to follow X accounts such as Treyarch or CODUpdates as they usually inform players about ongoing server outages and when the servers will be back up.

On Oct. 25, for example, the developers choose to roll out a server maintenance update, which will cause players to disconnect automatically. We should expect at least a couple more server maintenance updates throughout this first weekend as the servers will be swarmed with players, and even some random error codes.

Alternatively, you can also check the Black Ops 6 server status by accessing Activision’s online services. Sometimes, however, the problem will be on the gaming platform and not the game itself, so check the Xbox server status, PlayStation server status, or Steam server status if you're running into any problems.

How to fix Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 internet issues

If the servers are up and running, there's a chance the problem is on your end. Don't panic, though, as you can fix this problem pretty easily. Here are the best solutions to fix your internet if you can't play Black Ops 6:

  1. Restart your console or PC
  2. Restart Call of Duty's app
  3. Reset your internet connection by unplugging the router power cable and plugging it again after a couple of seconds

If none of this works, it's best to contact your internet service provider (ISP) to check if there's an outage in your area or if your internet isn't working accordingly. If it's the latter, they'll fix it for you and you'll be able to play Black Ops 6 again.
