First and foremost, you have to get behind the enemy you want to execute. Depending on the situation, this can be easy or extremely difficult. You might be able to flank an unsuspecting hostile or you'll have to be tricky with your movement to get around them.

Once you're at the enemy's backside, you'll need to hold down the melee button. Simply pressing it will do a melee attack, but holding it down will initiate the finishing move. Here are the default melee controls:

  • Xbox: Push in Right Stick
  • PlayStation: R3
  • PC: V

Whichever finishing move you have selected for your Operator in MW2 and Warzone 2.0 will give you a flashy kill. And while its always a good feeling, you are left vulnerable for a moment. If their teammate sees you, they can shoot you during the animation to prevent it from completing.
