The Call of Duty League season for Black Ops 7 is shaping up to be potentially one of the best yet. The general manager of the league, Daniel Tsay, recently walked us through the entire schedule for the 2025-2026 season, and there are more total events than in recent years, plus an entirely fresh ecosystem for Challengers in the Call of Duty League.
If you want to see the Qualifier dates, Major event locations, details about Champs, and more for the Black Ops 7 season, check out the guide below.
Call of Duty League schedule in Black Ops 7
In total, there are six major events planned for Black Ops 7 during the 2025-2026 season. This includes the Esports World Championship (EWC), which has been wildly successful for the Call of Duty season for the past two years. The rest of the major events are traditional Majors plus Champs during the summer of 2026.
In addition to those events, however, the CDL is also bringing back Minor events, and there will be two of them. One will take place during Major III and the other will occur during Major IV.
Finally, the CDL is re-prioritizing Challengers in Black Ops 7. The league announced that there will be four Challenger Elites, four Challenger Opens at all Majors, and Major 3 will feature a Challengers Pro-Am. The Pro-Am will see four Challenger teams join the bracket of the 12 CDL teams. Challenger teams can qualify for the bracket by competing in the Challenger Open.
