The Carbon 57 is one of the best SMGs in Black Ops 7 for a good reason.
The Carbon 57 is easily one of the most popular weapons in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, and it's largely due to the fact that the SMG is a reincarnation of the PDW-57 from Black Ops 2. While it does look a little more like the Cordite from Black Ops 4, all of the weapons behave in very similar ways. The Carbon 57 has a massive magazine, but aside from that, you'll need to kit out its loadout with some key attachments to make it a meta weapon in Black Ops 7.
Below, you can see the strongest loadout of attachments for the Carbon 57 in Black Ops 7 multiplayer.
Best loadout for the Carbon 57 in Black Ops 7
Naturally, the biggest strength of the Carbon 57 is its magazine, which has a base mag size of 50. With that number of bullets in every clip, you can focus on improving the Carbon 57's damage range, mobility, and recoil control with its loadout.
Here's our recommended loadout for the Carbon 57:
- Muzzle: K&S Brake-2B
- Barrel: 11" Greaves Repose Barrel
- Stock: Heavy Bound Pad
- Laser: EMT3 Agile Laser
- Fire Mods: Accelerated Recoil System
Loadout Build Code: S05-8UWUD-TB151

One of the primary weaknesses of the Carbon 57 is its damage range, as you'll often see you get more hitmarkers than normal when using it in core playlists. So, to combat that, we've put on the 11" Greaves Barrel to improve damage range as well as the EMT3 Agile Laser, which also increases recoil stabilization. Speaking of recoil, the rest of the loadout is focused on boosting accuracy, since the Carbon 57 has fairly noticeable vertical recoil by default.
With this loadout, you'll get a Carbon 57 that shoots fairly straight, has decent damage, and keeps its large magazine size. However, if you want slightly stronger SMGs, make sure to check out our loadout guides for the Dravec 45 and the Razor 9mm in Black Ops 7.
