Best Ammo Mods in Black Ops 6 Zombies, ranked

Ammo Mods can make a huge difference in Black Ops 6 Zombies, and we've got the best ones for you here. They can inflict elemental damage, help you in a pinch, and simply make it easier to survive those later rounds.

Let's go over all of them, as we rank them in order of what we feel is the least useful to the most useful.

Napalm Burst can definitely get the job done, but it isn't nearly as fun as some of the others. This Ammo Mod simply sets Zombies ablaze when it triggers as you fire upon them.

It has some Augments that can really give a boost to its power. It just doesn't have that wow factor of the other Ammo Mods in Black Ops 6 Zombies, unless you need it for a challenge or two.

Cryo Freeze bullets deal frost damage to Zombies. There is a chance you can slow them down and fully freeze them in their tracks, too.

Now, that is fine and again, some Augments can make Cryo Freeze super powerful. It doesn't really have an effect on multiple Zombies at once, though, with the other Ammo Mods simply being better for crowd control.

Dead Wire is necessary for the Terminus Easter egg. That gives it a boost in usefulness right off the bat. It also can spread to other Zombies when it is triggered.

This is in the top three of the best Ammo Mods for Black Ops 6 Zombies because of the electric field it creates. Not only does it stun Zombies, it can stun others that come too close to that one. It is a great way to halt the horde from catching up to you.

Shadow damage is what you'll deal with Shadow Rift. This is a wild Ammo Mod, as on activation, it can spawn a black hole. That then warps Zombies away from the area and sometimes sends them falling from the sky.

If you're backed in a corner, there's nothing better than to just spray with your weapon that has the Shadow Rift Ammo Mod equipped. You can thin the herd and safely make it out alive if the RNG is in your favor.

We feel Brain Rot is absolutely the best Ammo Mod in Black Ops 6 Zombies. While it deals toxic damage, it has a special trigger that can't be ignored. It can turn a Zombie into an ally.

If green gas starts coming out of their eyes, and their health bar turns green, you've successfully converted a Zombie to your side. They'll rush other Zombies, taking swipes at them, and even netting you some eliminations in return.
