Best AK-74 loadout in Black Ops 6

The AK-74 is the second assault rifle (AR) you unlock in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 multiplayer. Although the AK-74 is already a strong and reliable weapon for various scenarios of Black Ops 6, you can maximize its potential with a good loadout.

Equipping the right attachments can decrease the AK-74's famous kick and bolster its fire rate, turning this weapon one of the best guns in Black Ops 6. Here's the best loadout for the AK-74 in Black Ops 6.

You unlock the AK-74 when you hit level 10 in Black Ops 6 multiplayer, which allows you to put the XM4 aside if you want. It took us approximately four to five hours to get to level 10, so it's not difficult as long as you're playing games consistently, doing the objective for additional XP, and performing relatively well.

After experimenting with the AK-74, we found this loadout the best. The first attachment you'll pick is the Kepler Microflex optic. Although lots of players don't attach an optic to assault rifles in Black Ops 6, we personally found out that it helps us to stay accurate in long-range engagements.

Next, pick the Ported Compensator as your muzzle to eliminate vertical recoil. This will fix what's probably the main weakness of the AK-74. Up next, we picked the rear grip Ergonomic Grip, which greatly increases the AK-74's handling.

As for the Magazine, we chose the Extended Mag 1 to add a bit more ammo. Finally, we rounded out this AK-74 loadout in Black Ops 6 with the fire mod Rapid Fire, which improves the rifle's fire rate.

All in all, this loadout keeps the AK-74 steady and strong.

Even though we don't use pistols very often with the AK-74, we found that the 9mm PM does the job just fine when the rifle runs off ammo. While the 9mm PM does have some range, it's best to use it when you're close to enemies to make sure your shots count.

After sorting out the attachments and the secondary weapon, it's time to pick our Lethal and Tactical equipment for the AK-74.

While we do love the Flashbang, we found that it sometimes can be a bit useless. The Stim Shot, on the other hand, is as reliable as you can get as it heals you back to full health very fast. The Stim Shot also recharges over time, so you'll always have it in your pocket if you're smart in your engagements.

As for the lethal equipment for the AK-74, pick the Semtex to blow up your enemies.

Finally, to round out this loadout, we'll go through our Perks and Wildcard for the AK-74.

Although this is mostly down to player preference, we enjoyed playing with the Gung-Ho Enforcer Perk. This one improves your Sprint and Tactical Spring when reloading, which can prevent you from dying.

The Assassin is another Enforcer Perk, and it highlights enemies on a killstreak in the mini-map and makes them drop Bounty Packs if you kill them. Our Perk number three is the Vigilance, which shows a HUD icon whenever enemies see you on their mini-map. The HUD flash provided by this Recon Perk allows you to kill enemies that would go under your radar.

As for the Wildcard, we went with Tactical Expert. This one will give you an additional Stim Shot, meaning your odds of dying greatly decrease. Is it necessary? No, but it does make you more sweaty to enemies.
