When are the two extra playlists coming to Battlefield RedSpec?
Battlefield RedSec has officially launched and currently offers two standard playlists: Duos and Quads. While this is fairly standard for the release of a new battle royale, many players are curious about if and when new playlists will be added to the game. Specifically, players are wondering when the Solos and Trios playlists are slated to arrive in RedSec.
Below, you can see all of the details we currently know about the potential Solos and Trios modes in Battlefield 6's new battle royale.
Solos and Trios release date in Battlefield RedSec
At the time of writing, EA has not given us any official release date or even a release window for the Solos and Trios playlists. While the developers have stated that new modes and playlists will be added after launch, it's currently unclear when those could arrive in the coming months. It's important to note, though, that EA has not specifically mentioned "Solos" or "Trios" by name in any of the RedSec marketing up to this point. But, given how popular those playlists are, it would be highly unlikely for the developers not to add them.
Right now, we do have a full Season 1 and beyond roadmap for Battlefield 6 and RedSec, but Solos and Trios aren't a part of that. While this doesn't mean the playlists won't be added during the roadmap's timeline, it seems like EA is going to wait a decent amount of time before looking into expanding RedSec's playlist offerings.

As you can see from the roadmap above, the only planned update for RedSec remaining in 2025 is the Ice Lock Gauntlet limited-time mode that's arriving on Dec. 9. Beyond that, it's unclear what content EA has in store for RedSec and when it could potentially be released.
If we were to speculate, both a Solos and Trios playlist will likely be added prior to that Dec. 9 update in Battlefield 6. With how much the community wants to see a Solos playlist, it would be a questionable move on the part of the developers to keep that out of RedSec for the rest of the year. The developers are presumably gathering data on Duos and Quads at the launch of RedSec and should release at least a Solos playlist within the next few weeks.
Of course, that's all conjecture, so we'll have to wait for a future update to learn the fate of the Solos and Trios playlists in Battlefield RedSec.
