A brand new comic book will see FaZe members as superheroes

FaZe Clan has revealed a new partnership with DC Comics. In a new tweet sent out on Wednesday, the org shared a collaboration with one of the most prolific comic book publishers in the world. The announcement video showed merchandise, apparel, and a brand new Batman comic book.

DC Comics will be writing an exclusive story arc with the dark vigilante and FaZe Clan members. The limited-edition comic book will see FaZe Banks, FaZe Rug, FaZe Temperrr, FaZeRain, FaZe Adapt, and FaZe Blaze as actual superheroes in the crossover comic. There will also be 5 different covers including 4 variant covers with different founding members of the org. Josh Trujillio, who wrote Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series, is creating the story. Additionally, the cover art will be illustrated by Scot Eaton from Superman and Justice League.

FaZe Clan x Batman

FaZe Clan is no stranger to merch collaborations. Just before the deal with DC Comics, the org announced an apparel deal with OpTic Gaming, one of their long-time rivals in the Call of Duty League. In addition to the comic book, FaZe will release apparel featuring the org's name and the famed Batman logo. The collection will feature a hoodie, t-shirts, jerseys and a long sleeve shirt. Finally, there will be keycaps and a mousepad with FaZe Clan's iconic camo design surrounding the Batman logo.

FaZe Rain said in a recent statement how much the partnership means to him. “This collaboration is extremely special to us because we all grew up on Batman and DC" he explained, "and to see ourselves as comic book Super Heroes is a dream come true.”

DC general manager Daniel Cherry III said “DC is excited to partner with FaZe Clan to share this custom Batman story with their amazing gaming fans.” Furthermore, he said he hopes this collaboration will bring new fans into the DC universe.
