The scores led to no tiebreakers for the day and the TI10 Playoffs bracket was simply laid out. For the top seeds, they are given the option to choose their first opponent for the Playoffs from either the 3rd or 4th place finish in the opposite group. After a moment, the results of the top seeds’ choices were finally revealed. PSG.LGD, choosing between OG and T1, opted for the Southeast Asian team, T1. Meanwhile, Invictus Gaming chose Team Spirit over its Chinese counterpart, Vici Gaming.

TI10 Playoffs is finally in shape

We will be seeing a heavily stacked Upper Bracket for TI10 Playoffs. Invictus Gaming, the Singapore Major champions will go against Team Spirit, a team that hosts the youngest players in TI10. A spicy matchup of OG vs Team Secret will also take place. Fans are already excited to spectate the two teams, who have history, to square off against each other.

T1 will look forward to proving itself as it is set to battle the strongest team of the season, PSG.LGD. Another China vs CIS matchup will take place in the Upper Bracket with Vici Gaming going head-to-head against Virtus.Pro.

The Lower Bracket of TI10 Playoffs will see intense competition as elimination will be on the line. Team Undying, who had a strong showing during the Group Stages will go against SEA’s impressive underdog, Fnatic. Quincy Crew, who had barely escaped elimination will battle the regional kings of China, Team Aster.

The final South American hope, Beastcoast will look to perform its best against Alliance, who struggled in the group stages and will take this opportunity to redeem itself. And finally, the North American top dog, who found itself in the Lower Bracket, Evil Geniuses, will continue its TI journey and battle the Chinese all-star line-up, Elephant.

We also bid farewell to two teams, Thunder Predator and SG e-sports who were eliminated after the Group Stages. Only 16 teams remain as contenders for the Aegis. These teams will put forth their best Dota on the table as TI10 proceeds to the Playoffs.
