AFK Journey is a new role-playing adventure video game released by FARLIGHT as part of the AFK Arena series. At the moment, the game has over a million downloads on the Google Play Store. AFK Journey is designated for mobile play. But if a mobile setting is not your cup of tea, AFK Journey is also available to play on PC. Here's a step-by-step guide to play AFK Journey on PC!



A guide on how to play AFK Journey on PC



Step one: Go to AFK Journey's official site.



AFK Journey readily provides a way for players to play the game on PC. Just go to their official site or click on this link and click the "PC Download" button. 







Step two: Click "PC Download" 



Locate the "PC Download" button and click it. This will prompt a "Save as" window and you can save the file wherever suitable such as the Downloads folder.







Step three: Launch the "afkjourneysetup" file.



Double-click on the downloaded exe file "afkjourneysetup" and it will open the game launcher.







Step three: Click "Download" and confirm download address.



Once the game launcher loads, click the 'Download' button and a "Game installation" prompt will come up. Confirm where you want to download AFK Journey's file. 



It will typically direct the game file to your Program Files by default, but if you want to change the download address, you can click on the folder icon located next to the address bar. Click confirm once everything is done.



NOTE: You will need 6GB of free space on your device to download AFK Journey.







Step four: Click "Start" to begin installation.



The game launcher will first "Initialize" and you can then click on the "Start" button. Wait for the installation process to finish.







Step five: Log in to your account.



A prompt will pop up and ask you to log into your account. Enter your e-mail account and press "Send Code". You can find a verification code at the entered e-mail address. You can also create an account and log in via password.

How to play AFK Journey on PC: A step-by-step guide

Reverse Red players are the champions of the Snapdragon Mobile Masters Free Fire competition. The competition was part of the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series (SPS) 2024 circuit. The team took home $60,000 and a spot in the Esports World Cup. The finalist, Fluxo, also secured a place in the Saudi Arabian competition.



The Free Fire Snapdragon Mobile Masters took place in São Paulo at Komplexo Tempo, together with the Call of Duty: Mobile (CoD Mobile) tournament.

Reverse Red became the champion after being the most consistent team during the two days of competition. The Thai team won four Booyahs out of the 12 rounds played. What stood out in this Reverse Red title was the team's comfort in terms of numbers in relation to the other teams.



Reverse Red's number of kills was much higher than Fluxo's number of kills. There were 127 kills by the Thai team. The team that came closest to that number was JV E-Sport from the same country.



One of the disappointments of the competition was Miners.gg, the team that won Mobile Challenge LATAM, a qualifying competition for this competition. The Brazilian team with experienced names in the Free Fire scene such as Fernando "NANDO9" Fernandes and Gerson "GENERAL" Júnior came in 10th place.

The 29.30 Fortnite update has a lot of content for players to explore. Obviously, the Battle Royale mode is the most popular, so let's talk about everything we can expect for next week.



Return of the Tactical AR in Fortnite update



The Tactical AR is officially making its return to the Fortnite island. While this gun's bloom may be a bit heavier than other ARs, it has a fire rate that makes other guns look weak. Not only that, but its scope abilities will give players a chance to really hone in on their sights. 







The gun was first released back in Chapter 1, and since that has been seen on the island multiple times. This, however, will be the first time the gun has been available with interchangeable scopes. 



LEGO Fortnite Edit Styles



Edit Styles are officially coming to LEGO Fortnite. This means your favorite skins that have multiple options in the Battle Royale, will now also include multiple options in LEGO Fortnite.







Details on the new Edit Styles in LEGO Fortnite have not yet been released, so whether or not every skin will have them is unknown.

Probably the biggest news for next week is the release of Fortnite Festival Season 3. This means a brand new Icon Artist will be emerging, giving players a whole new list of songs to choose from.

How to play Hearthstone Battlegrounds Duos



How do you play Duo Battlegrounds in Hearthstone? Well, when you enter Battlegrounds Duos, you and your partner must select a hero each. You can see your partner's hero options and vice versa by clicking on the portal located on the right side of the screen. To return to your perspective, click on the portal again.

Next, play Hearthstone Battlegrounds as normal while keeping in mind the slight twists and benefits of having a partner! For example, in Battlegrounds Duos, teams share health and armor totals. Teammates can also click on the portal to check out each other's minion and spell options throughout the match.

How to win Hearthstone Battlegrounds Duos



Teammates are allowed to give each other cards from Bob's Tavern as well. For example, in our playthrough, our partner bought a Glim Guardian minion from their Tavern. Our partner then passed the card to us through the portal. This automatically united our two other Glim Guardian minions, creating a golden version with more stats. Passing a card through the portal requires one gold.

Three long years have passed since Kratos, The God of War, last appeared in the Fortnite Item Shop. Players have clamored for a return, but Epic Games has been reluctant to unleash Kratos to the masses. However, considering the theme of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2, many believe Kratos is coming back to Fortnite soon. Here is everything we know about when The God of War may return.

For this information, we turn to reliable Fortnite leaker HYPEX, who is usually correct about theories and leaks. On April 11, HYPEX theorized that Kratos could return to Fortnite for the sixth anniversary of God of War (2018). The game launched on April 20, 2018, giving players a look at an older version of Kratos with the same unadulterated aggression. 



Roughly two years after the game launched, Epic Games collaborated with Sony to give Kratos an in-game Fortnite skin and other cosmetics. Sure enough, it was an instant hit, but Kratos has been absent from the Item Shop since March 19, 2021.



Although HYPEX's theory is unconfirmed, it's at least something to look toward as Epic Games continues rolling out Item Shops daily. 






Why do people want Kratos back so badly?









Beyond being one of the most famous video game characters ever, Kratos's Fortnite Pickaxe has become a staple in players' loadouts. Many streamers and competitors, including NickEh30, have made Leviathan Axe their primary. It's safe to say that Fortnite fans are eager to get their hands on this Pickaxe again.

When is Kratos coming back to Fortnite? Answered

Since Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Set 11 Inkborn Fables' release, there has been a dominance in reroll compositions, both 2 and 3-cost. In the latest B-patch, 3-cost reroll compositions such as Yone reroll and Duelist reroll that benefit from level 7 odds and Titan's Resolve are very prevalent.



Additionally, 4-cost carry compositions are less prominent than what is considered healthy for the game. While Kai'sa carry functions at level 8 and caps well at level 9, it is harder to compete with the reroll meta with any other level 8 and 9 standard composition. 



Many of the changes in the large upcoming patch remedies the state of the meta to expand the diversity of playstyles and meta compositions.

Depending on the region you are located in, TFT patch 14.8 will be available on live servers earlier than your global counterparts. At the latest, everyone should be playing Set 11 Inkborn Fables patch 14.8 on April 17, as early as 5 a.m. local time. For regions that span across multiple time zones like North America (NA), that time will range a few hours.

By the time this countdown finishes, all other major regions aside from NA will be live with the latest patch. Servers will go down for maintenance for the new patch at the normal timing cycle. For NA, this means servers become unavailable at 1:30 a.m. PDT. Starting at 3 a.m. PDT, maintenance for TFT patch 14.8. Then as early as 5 or 6 a.m. PDT, NA can continue their TFT Set 11 ranked journey.

When does TFT patch 14.8 release? - Answered

Overwatch 2 Season 9 introduced jade weapons to the fray for those who grinded enough competitive points. Season 10 returns to this system once more by reintroducing gold weapons. The new rewards are a milestone for any specific hero. So if you see an enemy hero with gold weapons in Season 10 of Overwatch 2, beware!

Gold guns making their comeback in Season 10 



Prior to Season 9 of Overwatch 2, golden weapons were the main reward for competitive gameplay outside of the ranked milestones. Players would earn competitive points to purchase gold variants of weapons for their favorite heroes. This system was only expanded on later, where in Season 9 of Overwatch 2, jade weapons were introduced. Following the same idea, hade weapons were just another aesthetic variant of weapons for heroes.

However, with the new season came a new competitive ranked currency. This essentially had players start grinding for the competitive currency all over again because the previous season's currency was converted to legacy currency. And it seems like we are having a similar situation as players can't spend their legacy points on the golden weapon skins for the upcoming season. According to Blizzard, players can't combine their legacy points with their 2024 points when it comes to redeeming golden weapons. 



Unlocking the 2024 golden guns for Overwatch 2 



The new 2024 Overwatch 2 golden weapons can only be unlocked with the new 2024 ranked points. Unfortunately, players can't spend their legacy points on the golden weapon skins for the upcoming season. The specific amount of points to unlock these skins are currently unknown. However, the previous ranked weapon variant skins cost 3,000 ranked points, so it's safe to assume that the golden weapons will be similarly priced.

A new report titled 2021 Mobile Gaming Tear Down from <a href="https://content-new.appannie.com/en/insights/mobile-gaming/2021-mobile-gaming-teardown">App Annie</a> finds that mobile gaming revenue is rising rapidly and shows no signs of slowing down.

In the first half of 2021, mobile gamers spent $1.7 billion dollars every week on mobile games. In fact, that's over three times the amount gamers spent on consoles. A new report titled 2021 Mobile Gaming Tear Down from <a href="https://content-new.appannie.com/en/insights/mobile-gaming/2021-mobile-gaming-teardown">App Annie</a> finds that mobile gaming revenue is rising rapidly and shows no signs of slowing down. 



The pandemic has caused a huge increase in mobile game downloads, the report shows. Weekly downloads of mobile games reached 1 billion per week in March 2020. In addition to downloads, players are logging some serious playtime. For instance, App Annie recorded over 5 billion hours of <a href="https://esports.gg/news/mobile/mobile-gaming/">mobile gaming</a> in 2020. Even more impressive is that over 810 games saw $1 million in consumer spending every month. As the numbers continue to be counted into 2021, spending is 40% higher than before the pandemic.

PUBG MOBILE has announced the dates for their final events to round off what has been a record-breaking year for the title. The <a href="https://esports.gg/news/mobile/pubg-mobile-pro-league-format/">PUBG MOBILE Pro League</a> (PMPL) and the PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC) will run through for the rest of the year.



The PMPL will play host to multiple regions as teams prepare to qualify for the Global Championship. Due to the close proximity and the competitive nature of their communities, the Middle East and North Africa regions will be combining to form the MENA. Here are the four confirmed leagues for the PMPL and their starting dates:
