Get ready for the next battle! The Tekken World Tour 2022 returns with offline events this year!

After nearly two years of no offline tournaments, Tekken players can finally rejoice. The Tekken World Tour 2022 has been officially announced, and it begins in less than a month! Just before the top 8 of Combo Breaker 2022, Bandai Namco announced the Tekken World Tour 2022. The World Tour begins on June 24th, starting with CEO.

Get Ready For The Next Battle

In the announcement tweet by Bandai Namco Esports, they proudly announce the return of offline events, more regions, and top players facing off from each region at the global finals. The tour will consist of master and dojo events based on the size various tournaments.

These events will give winners points towards qualifying for the global finals. From late June to October, various master and dojo events will occur. Following these in October to December, the regional finals will take place. Finally, at the beginning of 2023, the tour will culminate with the global finals.

The Tekken World Tour 2022 will include two new regions compared to previous years, North Africa and Pakistan:

  • West Europe
  • East Europe
  • North Africa *NEW*
  • West Africa
  • South Africa
  • Middle East
  • Pakistan *NEW*
  • South Asia
  • Southeast Asia
  • Philippines & East Asia

How to qualify for the Tekken World Tour 2022 finals

Competitors can earn points from participating in Dojo and Master events. The Dojo events are region locked, and Master events are region free.

Based on the number of entrants, the event will be worth more or less points. Master events are the major offline events that viewers are used to.

These events include CEO, VS Fighting X, Rev Major, and the Mixup! Finally, the sole Master Prime event will be EVO.

The Tekken World Tour 2022 will see players from all over the globe duke it out for the title of the King of Iron Fist Tournament. Viewers and players alike will be treated to the highest level of Tekken that the world has to offer.
