Trigger drip marketing finally reveals her as playable ZZZ Agent

Zenless Zone Zero official accounts posted the Trigger drip marketing, announcing her as a playable agent in the upcoming ZZZ update. Check out the Trigger drip here.

Trigger is confirmed to be an Electric Stun Agent. Unofficial sources claim that she will be S-Rank, making her the second in this archetype following Qingyi.

She was first introduced in Soldier 11's Agent Story, as both are members of the Obol Squad faction. Soldier 11 even offers a quote in the Trigger drip marketing post. Her archetype and faction alignment signals a possible synergy between her and Silver Soldier - Anby.

"She rarely talks about her past... but I have absolute faith in her will, her abilities, her instincts, and, of course, her talent for managing the dorm."

While the two are not directly acquainted (as far as we know), Tsukishiro Yanagi is also quoted in the post. The two seems to have a budding rivalry over red bean buns.

The rest of the quoted people are quite ominous. One is "a Defense Force soldier completely unaware of the person hiding in the nearby haystack" and the other is "a synthesized voice of someone once marked as deceased."

The post also reveals some of Trigger's motivations.

Trigger's addition as a playable character, on top of Anby's Silver Soldier version, may mean that we'll get to learn more about the enigmatic Obol Squad. It seems that Trigger also has extra responsibilities in the faction, if Soldier 11's quote is anything to go by.

Trigger will be a playable Agent in the ZZZ 1.6 update, scheduled on March 5, 2025. Silver Soldier - Anby and Pulchra are also coming in this update.
