Zenless Zone Zero’s newest character, Astra Yao, has her own X account!
Zenless Zone Zero is continuing its cadence of revealing upcoming playable characters. Meet Astra Yao, a new Agent coming to ZZZ.
ZZZ Drip Marketing: Astra Yao
Astra Yao was revealed on official ZZZ social media accounts as well as on HoYoLAB. She is an S-rank Ether Stun Agent, but her rarity is currently unconfirmed. Her drip marketing graphic also reveals a new faction in ZZZ: Stars of Lyra.
She first made her appearance during the brand-new trailer shown in The Game Awards 2024. A few days later, her official reveal was posted. However, posters of her albums, movie covers, and other promotional material featuring her have been present in the game for quite some time now.

As a member of a new faction, we know next to nothing about her. It seems that in this context, however, the "Stars" in the faction name allude to the fact that she is a "superstar," as in a performer. Among the quoted people in her reveal is one "Evelyn Chevalier," who is perhaps her personal assistant.
The other quotes also solidify the fact that she is a popular performer, and the rest of the faction is at least musically inclined, having the motto "Music is magic!"
Apart from the usual reveal, Astra Yao also has her personal X (formerly Twitter) account. The account only has three posts as of the time of writing, though.
The account's bio teases a "concert" for Jan. 22, 2025, which is exactly a week from the expected release of the Zenless Zone Zero version 1.5 update. Perhaps, her debut as a playable character would be accompanied by a musical performance or even an album (Robin, is that you?)
When will Astra Yao be playable in ZZZ?
