ZZZ Drip Marketing: Hugo Vlad
After being introduced in Von Lycaon's Agent Story way back in ZZZ version 1.0, Hugo Vlad is finally coming as a playable Agent. He is confirmed to be an Ice Attack agent, while unofficial sources claim he will be S-rank.
He is from the new faction, Mockingbird, and will be the second playable character from it, following Vivian. Like Vivian, Hugo is also expected to have a big role in the upcoming ZZZ version 1.6 update, but he will be playable in the 1.7 patch.
Lycaon is, of course, one of the people quoted as part of the Hugo drip marketing. "It is precisely because we are living in this era of disasters that I cannot acknowledge the so-called 'justice' he believes in. Carving out a malignant tumor forcefully with sharp claws will ultimately leaves only a scar named vengeance," says Lycaon.
The other quotes are suggestive of Hugo's duplicitous nature - a quality that he uses to its full effect. One anonymous nobleman points out Hugo's "despicable and insidious nature" after implying that he has a blood tie with him, meaning that Hugo himself is a noble. He also seems to have a strong sense of justice, as supported by Lycaon's statement and a certain "top-rated comment on Inter-Knot" that seems to be posted by Hugo himself under a post reporting his crimes.
The official Zenless Zone Zero account says that Hugo's character model will be adjusted based on player feedback. This improved model goes live in version 1.7.
