Zenless Zone Zero might increase the level cap for characters and W-Engines to 70 or 80 soon, leaks suggest.
In Zenless Zone Zero, the playable characters, or Agents, can reach a maximum level of 60. However, leaked images suggest that increasing this may have been the plan all along, and more evidence has surfaced.
Level 80 Agents and W-Engines in ZZZ soon?
Before we get into the leaks, there is one important thing to discuss first. Zenless Zone Zero is entering its second year, and with it comes an update called ZZZ Season 2. This update will introduce a new area, changes to some gameplay mechanics of existing Agents, and several new characters.
One of these new characters is Yixuan, whom we've actually already met in the epilogue of Season 1. ZZZ Agents each have their own "Specialty" — this is the class that they belong to. The game released with five Specialties: Attack, Defense, Stun, Support, and Anomaly.
However, when Yixuan was announced to be a playable character, she had a new Specialty: Rupture. Of course, this introduced new lines of farmable Enhancement Chips for Agents and W-Engines.

Currently, there are three tiers of Certification Seals (Agent uncap material). These colors go from green to blue to purple. These are consistent with the game's color codes for rarity: B-rank units are blue and A-rank units are purple. But one color was never used in these Enhancement Chips: Gold. The gold color is applied to the rarest things in the game, such as S-rank Agents and W-Engines, but it has been absent in farmable materials so far.
Here's where the leaks come in. According to X user @PalitoGodd, a gold-tier icon of the Rupture Certification Seal has been added to the game's beta version.

They also pointed out that the gold version of the chips has existed since the game's launch. The new golden Rupture chip could be proof that they are still planning to put these to use.

In related news, there are also golden versions of various upgrade materials that we might see in a future update.
