Why the Solitary Crusade Quest in Wuthering Waves is impossible

How to complete the Solitary Crusade Quest in Wuthering Waves? You can't for now. If you've powered through all of the main story in Wuthering Waves and are now onto the trophies, you may have found that there is one Companion quest still eluding you, the Keeper in the Darkness Quest.

Unfortunately while the Trophy is visible in the Trophies Menu, the Companion Mission it is tied to is currently not available in version 1.0 of Wuthering Waves. Even though the character it involves, Yinlin, was added early on June 6, 2024.

Solitary Crusade is a chapter in the companion mission for Yinlin, a 5-star Electro Resonator, who was released ahead of time on June 6.

Despite Yinlin's early release prior to version 1.1, there is currently no way to unlock and complete the Solitary Crusade quest in version 1.0 to earn the Keeper in the Darkness trophy. The specific chapter of the companion quest may be added in version 1.1, which is due for release on June 28, 2024.

Although the Solitary Crusade Companion mission is not in version 1.0, you can still begin to learn about Yinlin by completing the first part of the Yinlin Companion Story: Solitary Path, which was added in the June 6 update.

The Solitary Crusade is likely a later chapter in Yinlin's Companion Story, and based on the first section, Yinlin is definitely an intriguing character.

For now all we know is to achieve the Keeper in the Darkness trophy you need to complete the Solitary Crusade quest, and that it will reward you with 10 Astrite.

Fortunately, Companion Missions do not require you to have unlocked that Wuthering Waves character, so you could hopefully attain the trophy swiftly if it drops in the next version. In the Solitary Path you will take control of Yinlin as a trial character.
