The WoW The War Within early access release date is August 22, 2024. The expansion is playable at 3 p.m. PDT, which is the same as 6 p.m. EDT and 11 p.m. BST.

Ahead of the early access release date, Blizzard's WoWCast shared details about the expansion's key features and activities. The video went into Warbands, delves, dungeons, affixes, the endgame, PvP, the Nerub'ar Palace raid, and more.

Meanwhile, franchise creative director Chris Metzen also shared his thoughts on the Worldsoul Saga plus The War Within. The Worldsoul Saga refers to a multi-expansion storyline that includes The War Within, Midnight, and The Last Titan.
