Mandatory and No Speaky enter TGP Global Finals 2025
Speaking of players, both Stove from Mandatory and Yipz from No Speaky sat down with the WoW esports casters for an interview after making it to the 2025 TGP Global Finals!
During the interview, Stove described his team's strategy for Necrotic Wake, which involved double-cleaving Blightbone and pulling the Flesh Crafter into the Necropolis area. He said it was fairly easy despite some execution mistakes. Stove then added that it's something Mandatory could work on before the Global Finals.
Meanwhile, Yipz said that he appreciated the higher starting level of competition since that allowed teams to spend more time improving their strategies. The extra time also allowed teams to revisit certain dungeons, improve times, and even attempt higher keys like a 21 Necrotic Wake.
"It's nice because you're not spending as much time leveling keystones, which is a little bit dry and boring as you're in a competition and you're trying to be hype and locked in," Yipz continued. "And then you're just having to log into a 16 or something like that and you're just kind of sleeping through it. And then you have to focus up. So it's definitely nice to consistently be in the higher keys and [be] able to focus on working through those. I like it. It's good."
That's all for now. WoW MDI TGP 2025 continues next weekend with Group B. Until then, stick around on esports.gg for more news and updates!
