The World of Warcraft Arena World Championship (WoW AWC) kicks off this weekend! Read on for the schedule, where to watch, what to expect, and more!

World of Warcraft Arena World Championship Cup 1

Another season of epic battles will commence soon. On June 16 starting at 10 a.m. PDT, the WoW AWC Cup 1 broadcast will kick off on Twitch and YouTube. This event will run through June 18 to determine which team will get a shot at the WoW AWC Grand Finals.

WoW AWC Dragonflight Season 2

The other AWC Cups will follow in the weekends after this one, with the top three teams advancing to the WoW AWC Grand Finals. As for the bottom five teams, they will get one more chance to prove their abilities in the AWC Gauntlet.

A total prize pool of $400,000 USD will be on the line across WoW AWC Dragonflight Season 2. While each AWC Cup will feature a $10,000 USD prize pool, the AWC Gauntlet will account for $20,000 USD in prizing. Moreover, the team that wins the WoW AWC Grand Finals will earn the lion's share of $300,000 USD.

Here's the broadcast schedule for the season:

  • 1st Cup: June 16 to June 18
  • 2nd Cup: June 23 to June 25
  • 3rd Cup: June 30 to July 2
  • 4th Cup: July 7 to July 9
  • WoW AWC Gauntlet: August 11
  • WoW AWC Grand Finals: August 12 to August 13

As for the broadcast talent, they will include Isaac “Azael” Cummings-Bentley, Gillian "Eiya" Long, Sid “Supatease” Compston, Elliott “Venruki” Venczel, and Mohammed “Ziqo” Beshir.
