World of Warcraft: The War Within beta test release date and what to expect

The War Within beta test launches on June 5, 2024. According to Blizzard, invited participants are checking out what this expansion has to offer and providing feedback. In addition to community veterans, press, and other invited guests, players who either buy or update to the Epic Edition of The War Within can access the beta.

To see if you've been selected to participate in the best test, check your email for a direct invitation. This email should include instructions on how to download the game client from the Battle.net app on desktop.

"As always, please be aware of phishing attempts — if you’re unsure whether your invitation is legitimate, please log in to your Battle.net account to verify that there is a The War Within beta license attached (under Your Game Accounts)," Blizzard added.

According to Blizzard, the beta test features new systems, Earthen as a playable race, delves, level-up and maximum-level dungeons, four new zones, Warbands, the Deephaul Ravine battleground, hero talents, new recipes, professions, enchantments, and more.
