What are Dreamsurges in WoW Dragonflight?

Dreamsurges are public events that involve defeating the Druids of the Flame for in-game rewards. Each week, a Dreamsurge affects one of four zones in the Dragon Isles. These areas include the Waking Shores, Ohn’ahran Plains, Azure Span, and Thaldraszus.

Players can either head to the Dreamsurge one of these zones or get the quest via Hamuul Runetotem in the Valdrakken settlement. During a Dreamsurge event, minor Waking Dream portals can be cleared by groups or solo adventurers.

"Every 30 minutes, a major Waking Dream portal will open in the affected zone as a group event," Blizzard added. "While active, that zone will be granted Dreaming Winds — a 25% increase to experience for players leveling in that area."

The weekly Dreamsurge quest involves collecting 100 Dreamsurge Coalescence. After obtaining 100 of these, players can get Dreamsurge Chrysalis and buy Champion gear from Celestine of the Harvest.
