Here’s how to get the Tyrael’s Charger mount in World of Warcraft and why some players are unhappy about its return.

The Tyrael's Charger mount in World of Warcraft has returned and is available for purchase via the Blizzard Shop. Some players are not happy about it.

How to get Tyrael's Charger

To obtain the Tyrael's Charger mount, head over to either the Blizzard Shop or in-game shop and get it for $25 USD. When the mount gets activated, it will be applied to all current and future toons on a single Battle.net account, according to Blizzard. Tyrael's Charger will also appear in each toon's pet and mount journal. If a character can't use a flying mount yet, then Tyrael's Charger can still be used to travel on the ground.

World of Warcraft players react to Tyrael's Charger mount

Some World of Warcraft players are unhappy about the return of Tyrael's Charger. This is because it used to be the exclusive 2011 Annual Pass mount. By bringing the mount back, it no longer feels special in terms of spotting it in the game and owning it.

Not all players share the same sentiment. Some players are excited to finally obtain Tyrael's Charger for themselves. There are also World of Warcraft mount collectors who are happy about its return.

World of Warcraft mounts move to Trading Post

Blizzard's Tyrael's Charger announcement arrived within a holiday sale post. In addition to this mount, players can purchase a bunch of other items this wintery season.

A few of these include the Celestial Steed and Winged Guardian mounts plus the Lil’ K.T. and Pandaren Monk pets. It should be noted that these particular mounts and pets will leave the Blizzard Shop indefinitely on January 2, 2023. They will move to the Trading Post.

"It won’t be long before the Trading Post goes live, but before that happens and some of our regular Blizzard Shop items make a move to the Trading Post, we’ve placed those items on sale for a limited time," Blizzard stated. "Players who want to purchase these items outright can now have the chance before they arrive on the Trading Post vendor in the future."
