Rage of the Firelands arrives October 209, 2024. Are you ready to take the fight to Ragnaros?
Oct. 29 is a date many World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Classic players have been waiting on. The Rage of the Firelands officially goes live, with the Firelands raid opening the following week.
Based on the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm patch of the same name, Rage of the Firelands brings back the Elemental Bonds questline and adds in the new Elemental Rune Dungeons: Protocol Inferno difficulty. Then, one week later, players get to head into the Firelands themselves to face Ragnaros and his strongest minions.
High-definition textures
Rage of the Firelands also brings a huge update that allows players to turn on high-definition textures to add modern fidelity while keeping the World of Warcraft: Classic aesthetic.
Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest available
