Poggers claimed yet another victory in a WoW AWC tournament. Unlike Cup 2, however, the players had to fight an uphill battle before reaching the very top. After defeating Bedge in the first round, Poggers went 2-3 against The Bots. This pushed them into the lower elimination bracket where they had to duke it out against The Agents and Team Huhu.

Meanwhile, The Bots fought MyWay in the upper bracket's semifinals and lost 0-3. This meant a rematch in the elimination bracket between Poggers and The Bots to determine who will face MyWay in the final. By going 3-2 against The Bots, Poggers earned a place in the final WoW AWC Cup 4 showdown.

Although MyWay took Nagrand Arena, Poggers didn't give up as the team won at Hook Point, Empyrean Domain, Tiger's Peak, and Tol'viron Arena. With a score of 4-1, Poggers won the gold at WoW AWC Cup 4!

"Happy that we're able to come back from our first cup, which was a bit of a disappointing result," Adam "Chanimal" Chan said in the post-match interview. "And that now we're starting to find our stride and do really well again."

WoW AWC Cup 4 North America

Over in the North American region, Where's Gordy? took home the gold. The team bested RNG in the first round before taking down Silver Sentinels 3-0 in the quarterfinals. When Where's Gordy? faced the Golden Guardians, they went 3-1 and secured a place in the final against Luminosity Gaming.

Last week, Luminosity Gaming and The Agents became the WoW AWC Dragonflight Cup 3 champions. However, WoW AWC Cup 4 proved to be Where's Gordy? and Poggers' time to shine.

Hook Point went to Luminosity Gaming before Where's Gordy? claimed Tiger's Peak. Both team traded wins again before the final showdown in Black Rook Hold. "Yeah, it was super intense," Luke "Flop" Francis from Where's Gordy? said. "Ton of stuff's going through my mind. Just ultimately, I'm just really, really happy, man. Last year, you know, Luminosity — that team I just want to say, first of all, like those guys are absolutely insane and some of the best players to ever touch the game.

"And last year, the Grand Finals, you know, losing 3-4, was like a really, you know, it was really, really tough. But ultimately getting to fight them in this Cup and then winning the finals, you know, in a really close, amazing series — it was super gratifying. You know, I screamed and yelled and it's awesome. A lot of emotions for sure."
