Cdew and Samiyam on the RMP meta
"I was a little worried about Cup 1. It felt like we didn't have a lot of diversity. We tried a bunch of different comps and we kept landing back on RMP," Cdew said in the post-match interview, referring to the Rogue, Priest, and Mage team composition. "But it seems like we landed on the right one, at least."
Samiyam then shared that he had to convince his teammate times to try RMP as well. He said those conversations happened on stream almost every night. In terms of his own gameplay, he said that the Mage class reminded him of his early days of WoW esports.

"I don't pick up the Mage too often, but I'm not gonna lie. When I do play Mage, it brings me back to my 15-year-old self when I was just starting out and competing. I had the biggest ego, so it's like whenever I fight other Mages and stuff, I have the biggest class envy. A little bit of that — it sparks when I play Mage in tournaments. I won't lie, I won't lie. So it feels good for sure," he added.
In terms of preparations for WoW AWC Cup 2, Cdew shared the team hopes to get Mes involved and may try some Death Knight compositions depending on how buffs play out. He's concerned about the healing nerf to Holy Priest that might shift the meta toward Druid gameplay. "So hopefully, our Druid's not the only viable healer next week," he said.

Jayyti and Oscar celebrate Overload victory
"I won't say we went into the tourney thinking we're going to win," Jayyti said in Overload's post-match interview. "But we were pretty confident in ourselves, I'll say that. We were, in our minds, ready to beat everyone. We knew the matchups, We practiced a lot, and I think we have a good read on the meta."

Oscar then joined the interview, sharing his thoughts on the roster's victory as well. "I mean, what do I even say? My voice is like gone after screaming so much," he said before talking about facing Echo in the WoW AWC Cup 1 final. "I mean, it's mega hype. We didn't expect to completely go in there and just make it [to] this [level]. It was some crazy matches, to be honest. And I think props to my team. My team played completely insane. [I've] never [seen] anything like it."
He also shared how intense the past few weeks have been, recalling how he's learned more in that short time than over the last two years. "Playing with gods like this is amazing," he said.
