The Trader’s Post is here and with it comes a new currency in Trader’s Tender. Here’s how to earn the new big currency in WoW.

The long-awaited arrival of the Trading Post is here! And with it comes a new currency, Trader's Tender to WoW. Somewhat the XP for a free battle-pass of sorts, Trader's Tender is earned--and given--a variety of ways.

Take a look at our full list for February of the items in the Trading Post for the Trader's Tender costs. And when you're ready we'll detail how to pick up your currency, how to earn it, and while you'll want to earn at least 500 of it throughout each calendar month.

How do I earn Trader's Tender in WoW?

You'll earn Trader's Tender in WoW through activities listed each month in your Adventure Guide. Think of this similar to a battle pass found in Fortnite. By completing activities or specific actions you'll receive Travel Points, which in turn fill the meter and net the player Trader's Tender. In turn, the Trading Post takes that currency for the current slate of items for the month.

For instance, Killing 10 Dragonflight raid bosses in a single month nets 200 Travel Points. Meanwhile, a crafter could also earn 200 Travel Points by fulfilling crafting orders. A player can earn up to 500 Trader's Tender a month by hitting the milestones in the Traveler's log. The system is malleable, and includes the following categories:

  • Dragonflight
  • Dungeons and Raids
  • Holidays and Events
  • Pet Battles
  • Professions
  • PVP
  • Quests
  • Social

The social quests tend to be the silliest. One of which this month includes going into old raids featuring either Onyxia, Deathwing, Malygos, or Sindragosa and using the /love emote. Cute.

But let's not forget: There's also some free Trader's Tender to grab!

Get your money for nothing

If you own Dragonflight then there's almost 1,500 free Tender to collect upon your first visit to the Trading Post. Not only do Dragonflight expansion owners get 500 Tender as a nice, one-time bonus, but each account gets 500 free Tender per month. In addition, an introduction quest to lead players to the Trading Post will hand out another 500 Tender. So, go nuts and get that Celestial Steed mount! You've earned it.

Keep checking back each month as the stock of items in the Trading Post changes. Hot tip: Be sure to spend earn at least 1000 Tender each month in WoW in order to collect each month's special reward. Collect 12 special rewards and the Night Elf Warden armor set is yours. Happy hunting!
