Here’s how Blizzard is celebrating the Warcraft universe now and into the future!

The Warcraft 30th Anniversary Direct event happened on Nov. 13, and it featured a slew of exciting content. Read on for everything to know about these Warcraft Direct 2024 announcements, including what's in store for World of Warcraft, Warcraft Rumble, Hearthstone, and so much more!

Warcraft Direct 2024 announcements

First up, we have lots of content to look forward to in terms of World of Warcraft, World of Warcraft Classic, and Warcraft RTS. For example, the modern World of Warcraft lets players celebrate 20 years of the game on Nov. 23.

There's also The War Within: Undermined content update to check out early next year. This patch features the goblin capital of Undermine. Alongside this is The War Within Season 2's new delves, dungeon, a new mount, plus a new raid. Don't forget about player housing! This is set to arrive in the World of Warcraft: Midnight expansion.

Meanwhile, World of Warcraft Classic gets Mists of Pandaria Classic slated for the summer of 2025, 20th Anniversary Edition realms starting Nov. 21, and even a Hardcore realm.

Next, patch 2.0 is now live for Warcraft III: Reforged players. This update features environment, lighting, and user interface overhauls plus lots of quality-of-life improvements. In addition to this, Warcraft: Orcs & Humans Remastered and Warcraft II: Tides of War Remastered is getting a full remaster! The Warcraft Battle Chest offers bundles of all three games together.

Warcraft Rumble gets split leaders and heads to PC

For fans of Warcraft Rumble, they can log in today and participate in the game's one-year celebration. This game is also  reintroducing Sylvanas Windrunner. This time, she's a split leader unit and belongs in both the Horde and Undead families. Later down the line, players can expect Orgrim Doomhammer belonging to the Horde and Blackrock families, Anub’arak as Undead and Beast, and Malfurion Stormrage as Alliance and Cenarion.

Warcraft Rumble is also coming to PC! The beta is launching on Dec. 10.

Hearthstone roadmap 2025

Finally, we have lots to get excited about in Hearthstone. The next Mini-Set, Heroes of StarCraft, brings another beloved universe to the card game. Meanwhile, other upcoming Mini-Sets include Druids of the Flame, Festival of Devilsaur, and The End of Time. As for the Year of the Raptor's expansions, they include Into the Emerald Dream, The Shrouded City, plus The Heroes of Time!

Don't forget about the major Arena overhaul featuring two versions of the game mode: Normal Arena for quick runs and Underground Arena for the more competitive players.
