Echo and Luminosity claimed victory at the 2023 WoW AWC Grand Finals! Here’s their journey to the very top.
After a weekend of intense PvP action, teams Echo and Luminosity became the 2023 World of Warcraft Arena World Championship (WoW AWC) champions! While Echo won the European WoW AWC Grand Finals, Luminosity players showed that they're the best in North America.

This victory earned Echo and Luminosity spots in the AWC Hall of Fame, where they now stand beside the champions of the past. These include teams such as Kawhi, Kungarna, Method NA, and Horizon from 2022 and 2021.
Before the WoW AWC Grand Finals action took off, the WoW AWC Gauntlet went down on April 7. For the European region, Admirals Esports came out on top and joined Echo, The Agents, and MyWay in the final event.
Meanwhile, Liquid won in the North American region and entered the final tournament alongside Where’s Gordy?, Luminosity, and the Golden Guardians.

The top four regional teams then duked it out between April 8 and 9 in best-of-five, double-elimination matches. The WoW AWC Grand Finals itself was a best-of-seven match.
Echo stayed in the upper bracket throughout the tournament, going 3-2 and 3-0 before fighting The Agents. When it came down to the finals, Echo defeated The Agents 4-2 and became the WoW AWC 2023 champions!
As for Luminosity players, they went 3-1 against Liquid before Where’s Gordy? booted them down to the elimination bracket. However, Luminosity players didn't give up as they climbed their way back to the top for a rematch in the final. With 4-0 sweep against Where’s Gordy?, Luminosity claimed victory!
